Doesn’t anyone see it as unfair that Snape was redeemed but JK says Draco isn’t redeemable? I don’t get the logic in that. Draco was a boy forced by circumstance and fear to follow orders from a mad man. He was scared for his life, but more importantly, he was scared for his parents’ lives.
Draco was a boy who may have been a complete and utter prick but that’s just it. HE WAS A BOY. He may have made mistakes in the past but really? This boy who was scared isn’t redeemable? That’s just utter bull, isn’t it?
People keep saying he had a choice but he truly didn’t. Had he even accepted Dumbledore’s offer of sanctuary, it wasn’t a guarantee that they’ll be safe. That his father and mother would be safe. He felt like he had no other choice if he wanted to keep his parents alive.
He endured the torment just for his parents and you call him unredeemable?
